Space Cleaner
The universe is a dirty place. Fortunately, you've got your broom.
Welcome to Space Cleaner, a light-hearted, quirky, and strangely satisfying 3D cleaning game where you're an intergalactic custodian tasked with tidying up the universe—one garbage-strewn world at a time.
You are the yellow-clad astronaut nobody asked for—but everybody finds they can't do without. Colonists will go and come, but mess? Mess remains. Toxic muck, eerie plant takings, sketchy stains, and the odd bits of cosmic trash pile are just another day on the job. Your trusty sidearm? A modular space broom with interchangeable heads—each designed to the bizarre conditions of the galaxy's grimiest worlds.
This is not a shooter. This is not a strategy sim. This is a galactic cleaning expedition, where the grime turns against you in subtler, more surreal ways.
A Broom for Every Mess
Every level gives you a new broom attachment. Some are functional. Others. let's say "experimental."
Standard Broom Heads:
Sponge – Remove grime and build-up. Just don't expect to ever see one on Teal worlds—they used up their sponge able stuff years ago.
Hoover – Sweep up garbage dumps with a satisfying schlorp. Not discovered on Yellow worlds—natives fear anything except soft-hued things.
Weed Cleaner – Slice through overgrown vegetation—except on a Purple world, where vegetation is sacred and to touch it is illegal.
Suction Cup – Hold and relocate items like bricks, batteries, or the occasional lollipop. Perfect for putting things back where they belong.
Rag – Good old-fashioned wiping. Great for stubborn ground stains.
Squeegee – Designed specifically for windows. Sadly, useless on Uninhabited worlds (no windows, no need).
Silly Substitutes:
Sometimes, due to planetary culture or supply chain “quirks,” you’ll be forced to improvise. Enter the Silly Items.
Bush – Green, leafy Hoover alternative. Just as good and eco-friendly.
Dapper Tree Wearing a Top Hat – Neat, cultured, and excellent at sucking up dirt rather than a sponge.
Weird Hungry Alien – Green thumb, plant enthusiast. Will happily munch through unwanted plants like a live weed removal device.
Squid I Found in the Ocean and I Don't Even Know How It Got in There – Does the exact same thing as the suction cup. Kind of. We don't complain anymore.
Every planet has its rules, regulations, and wacky cultural customs. One planet bans vacuums. Another worships their moss. Survival is adaptation. And survival is cleanliness.
Planet by Planet, Mess by Mess
Each level in Space Cleaner is handcrafted to introduce new mechanics, environmental puzzles, and unexpected limitations. You’re never just cleaning—you’re solving the weird rules each planet throws your way.
You’ll encounter:
Gravity-defying slime pools
Living vines that regrow unless cut in a certain rhythm
Toxic fog zones that require timed clean-ups
Sacred dirt (yes, it’s a thing)
And even a planet where nothing can be cleaned unless you’re dressed as a cactus.
These missions aren’t just about mopping floors—they’re about understanding alien societies through their filth.
Core Gameplay Loop
Equip your broom attachment (or questionable living substitute).
Analyse the terrain and find what needs to be cleaned, moved, wiped, or vacuumed.
Solve environmental challenges while following each planet’s unique societal rules.
Clean the world to 100% completion.
Get back into your ship. Again. Think about what your life has reduced to.
Play sessions range from 10 to 30 minutes, perfect for snappy moments of satisfaction—or marathon space-sanitization sprees.
Why Space Cleaner?
New kind of cleaning gameplay using physics-based broom tools
Puzzle-like levels that challenge you to think creatively
World-specific rules that change how you play every time
Ridiculously funny item substitutions that actually work
Minimal UI for maximum immersion
Atmospheric soundtrack to make your grime-clearing feel zen. or vaguely heroic
Become the janitor no one respects, but everyone relies on.
You’re not a hero. You’re not a soldier. You’re not even part of the union.
You’re a cleaner. And without you, space collapses under its own filth.
So, pick up your broom. Time to clear out. habitable.
